Business Manager
ESCAPE COMMUNITY ART IN ACTION is seeking a new Business Manager to
develop new income streams, particularly from developing delivery
contracts in health and social care in Warwickshire and the West
Midlands, and ensuring that the Escape organisation is well placed
to attract investment for its creative work with young people and
disadvantaged communities.

Artists
We are always looking out for talented artists who can help us
run our regular sessions, as well as specialist workshops and
courses. If you have the artistic or creative talent to inspire a
group, and are happy working with people from all walks of life, we
would love to hear from you.
Link Workers
We are always looking to recruit link workers who can offer
their skills on an occasional basis, preferably
with some experience in this sector, but full training will be given
to the right applicant.
All Escape projects are supported by Link Workers, whose role is to
provide support for the activities by liaising between the artist
and the participants to maintain continuity and smooth operation.
The wide variety of artist who offer their skills to the project is
constantly changing. Therefore the Link Worker is an important and
regular presence who can:
Offer a friendly
face to welcome people and get to know their needs.
Engage with
participants and make them feel comfortable.
Work with the
artists to make sure participants' needs are being met.
Support the artists
to maximise the impact of each activity.
Provide mentoring
for support workers.
Liaise with agencies
in the wider community to support participants and promote moving-on
opportunities.

Volunteers
Do you have skills to contribute to make a difference? We are
looking for people who can give us their time to help with any of
the following:
Fundraising
Researching potential grant funders and sponsors, assisting project
managers in writing and submitting funding applications,
administration for successful bids, helping with report writing,
etc.
Marketing
Administration for direct mailing campaigns, research on local and
regional businesses, database administration and research, preparing
regular newsletters.
Communication
Communicating with agencies and bodies for workshops, following up
and liaising with potential sponsors.
Personal Specification
Computer
literate
Versatile in
using Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and Access
Good
communication skills, both oral and written
Able to write
letters and press releases
Able to work
on own initiative
